Artisans in India use a clamp dyeing technique to pattern our poplin dress with motifs, inspired by old tiles in wood cabins. The technique consists of the fabric being folded and clamped between wooden blocks before it is dyed, unfolding to reveal a unique pattern that varies slightly from piece to piece. Crafted from cotton to an easy shape with a comfortable elasticated waist and side pockets.

Glass carafe hand-blown from recycled glass at the Beldi Country Club in Marrakesh. The group of 60 artisans are from the last glass factory in Morocco. They recycle two tons of glass a day with any waste from the process melted down again. Shaped with a lipped rim, tapered neck and rounded base with thick walls, slight warps, marks and air bubbles, which are traces of the artisanal process.

Wide-brimmed, hand-painted bucket hat from Romualda, a company founded by sisters Cristina and Mariana, a painter and designer. Crafted from organic cotton with an interior made from recycled plastic bottles, then painted by hand, making each unique.

Lina sandals crafted from vegetable-tanned leather by Fracap, a family-run business based in Puglia, using techniques passed down through generations. With a leather tongue behind the wide straps, which are fastened via waxed laces.

Cortona oil porter designed in Tuscany by Cortonese artisan Giulio Lucarini for Ivo Angel, a company celebrating Italian tradition and based in the hillside Tuscan town of Cortona. Wheel-thrown from terracotta clay by a pottery in Deruta that has been passed down four generations, then decorated with slip and finished with a transparent glaze. Finished with a cork and stainless steel stopper handmade in Sardinia. Each varies slightly in shape and colour.

Based at the Manchester Ceramics Collective, Frances trained in Stoke-on-Trent, known for its ceramics history, and Tuscany. Warm, weighty lambswool Welsh blanket woven in a small white-washed mill in a remote wooded valley on the Pembrokeshire coast by Melin Tregwynt. A mill has stood on the site since the 17th century, and has now been owned by the same family company since 1912. The intricate, reversible Knot Garden weave from the Melin Tregwynt archives was created in the 1950s, and is reimagined in an exclusive colourway for TOAST. Finished with a simple hem, making it fully reversible.

Pouring bowl for mixing or preparation in the kitchen, crafted by Manufacture de Digoin. With a glazed interior and rim, contrasted by the unglazed exterior. Crafted in their factory along the central canal in Burgundy, which traces back to 1875. The area was once home to about 40 ceramic factories. The pottery creates pieces from stoneware clay made of natural minerals from Burgundy, Auvergne, Charente and Île-de-France.
