   Possibly the most ingenious Easter egg box ever invented, it’s almost like something devised by Q in a Bond film. The golden cannister slips out of Charbonnel et Walker’s elegant, hen-dotted tube to reveal a secret compartment filled with a selection of fine milk chocolates and truffles (after thorough testing we concluded that the decadent Marc de Champagne one is our favourite). It then hinges open to expose an Easter egg – handcrafted from the silkiest milk chocolate – nestled in a protective bed of straw beneath. The chocolate is incredible, as you would expect from one of the country’s finest chocolatiers, but the experience is what makes this such a sublime Easter gift.
